Seoul has four distinct seasons: summer, autumn, winter, and spring. Temperatures range from 6 to 16 degrees Celsius, with hottest going up to 25 degrees Celsius in August, and the coldest down to -1 degree Celsius in January.
The average rainfall is 1,300mm, with some 50% of it falling between June and August. July is the most humid month, while Jan-April are the driest. The rainy season starts at end-June. Typhoons come some time between June and October, with two or three badly affecting the Korean peninsula.
