Korean manner of business dressing has changed slightly in recent years, with new managers injecting a tinge of casualness. Among the more senior executives, however, business dressing has remained the same. So if you want to impress your counterpart, especially if he is a senior manager, try to wear formal, simple, and dark suits.
Avoid flashy shirts with large patterns. Acceptable shirt colors include white, light blue, and ivory. Plain or pin-striped neckties are suitable. White socks or colored undershirts under a white shirt can be cause for embarrassment.
