Be sure you bring enough medication to last for the duration of your stay. This includes any allergy medication, muscle relaxants, cough syrups and pain killers that you require. Pharmacies in Singapore don't sell anything stronger than paracetamol and the pharmacist is not authorized to dispense anything without a proper prescription from a Singapore-registered physician.

We also suggest that you bring a supply of your customary antacid, as some of the local food can be quite spicy, and only a limited number of brands of antacid are available from the pharmacist.
