There are no high-end establishments at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. Due to the expansion being undertaken at the international Arrival/Departure terminals, the business center and the main restaurant have been shut down for renovation. These will be operational once the new terminal opens towards the end of 1999.
However, there are cafeterias and tea/coffee vending machines that are available in the terminals. The coffeeshops serve sandwiches, snacks, tea, and coffee. The price of a cup of coffee on the landside is Rs35, while airside it is Rs80. Manned tea/coffee vending machines sell tea for Rs4 and coffee for Rs5 per cup. Credit cards are not accepted. Open round-the-clock, these cafeterias are good places for quick business meetings, but can be noisy at times.
A few lounges for frequent travelers of various airlines and hotels are also operational.
