Suncheon is a city of prime historical significance. It is home to some of Korea’s historical wonders such as Nakan Eupseong Folk Village, Songgwangsa Temple, Seonamsa Temple, and Goindol Park, and natural wonders such as Mt. Jogyesan and Mt. Bonghwasan. Graceful surroundings are abound in this city. Suncheon is especially noted for the beauty of the birds passing long on their migratory route and the surrounding islands.
