Daegu is one of the largest cities in Korea and it is a basin surrounded by mountains. The major tourist attractions include Mt. Biseulsan Provincial Park and Mt. Palgongsan Provincial Park. In Mt. Biseulsan Park, there is a plain four kilometers in diameter where the blossom of the azalea and purple eulalia offers exquisite scenery in the spring and fall.
